This was a Food and Wine extravaganza held at Residence of the Australian Consul-General, HE Mr Tony Huber, Mumbai, India in association with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission / Austrade. Some of the guests included Mumbai’s well known food influencers and importers who are also “Friends of Australia”. It was a chance to experience modern Australian cuisine with a touch of India, thanks to the fabulous fare served by Australian Masterchef Sebastian Simon. Some of the ingredients used included Australian Lamb, Australian Feta, Walnuts, macademias and honey and a variety of Australian native ingredients like saltbush and mountain pepper berries. All done to celebrate Australian produce in a beautiful way.
